Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexnder Medical Center seeks an APP Manager to lead and mentor advanced practice providers and to serve as a liaison with division leadership. This role includes oversight of APP practice and collaboration with attending physicians to ensure high-quality patient care.

The manager will drive professional development, support APP Leads, and align clinical operations with system goals, promoting a sustainable model for APP utilization.

Qualifications

• Master of Science Degree Nursing or Master's in Physician Assistant Science.
• APRN license with Certification as an NP or NCCPA.
• Eligibility for State of Ohio licensure as a PA-C.
• Must have at least four (4) years of experience, including a minimum of two (2) years as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) and two (2) years in a lead APP, formal APP administrative leadership, or APP Educator role.
• 8-12 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mentor advanced practice providers and serve as liaison with APP leadership.
• Provide health care services in collaboration with a licensed physician to manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Lead APP practice optimization initiatives and support professional development of APRNs or PAs.
