This position offers a 7pm-7am shift with a 7 on/7 off schedule. Responsibilities include coordinating patient care with physician support and utilizing the Epic electronic medical record system.

Position

Advanced Practice Provider – Nocturnist (7pm-7am shift, 7 on/7 off).

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight coverage for adult inpatient admissions.
• Attend Rapid Response Team calls and code blues; physician backup available when needed.
• Coordinate with dedicated physician support and two physician admitters for daytime coverage.
• Work within the Epic electronic medical record system.
• Utilize on‑site swing/nocturnist office space adjacent to the emergency department and inpatient floor.
• Provide medical coordination and inpatient management for surgical patients.
• No procedures required; no intensive care unit coverage needed as intensivists are available 24/7.
