Benefis Health System is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider for a nocturnist role in Great Falls, Montana. In this position, you will join a hospitalist group serving a community hospital with diverse patient needs, providing support through collaborative teams and competitive compensation.

The role features a shift schedule of 7p-7a, a supportive environment with no ICU coverage, and access to over 440 medical staff specialists. Benefis values personal and professional development with ongoing training and wellness programs.

Benefis Health System has an opportunity for a talented Advanced Practice Provider, to join the hospitalist group serving our academic community hospital in Great Falls, Montana in a nocturnist role. Our robust system has a level II trauma designation and offers a wide variety of patients and pathology, collaborative teams, great specialty support, competitive compensation and benefits and scheduling that accommodates an adventurous Montana lifestyle!

Position Details

• Experience required – independent opportunity with physician support
• Nocturnist shift (7p-7a), 7on/7off with dedicated physician support (7p-7a) and 2 physician admitters (7a-5p and 11a-9p)
• Epic EMR providing easy access to colleges and specialists – dragon dictation
• Dedicated swing/nocturnist office space next to emergency department in addition to hospitalist office space on inpatient floor, with easy access to all areas of the system
• Required to attend RRTs or code blues with opportunity to ask for physician back up if needed
• Great access to specialists with over 440 providers on our medical staff representing 40 specialties, including: Neurosurgery, CVT Surgery, Interventional Radiology, Interventional and General Cardiology, General Surgery, Urology, Neurology, Nephrology, Orthopedics, Inpatient Gastroenterology, Psychiatry, and more!
• No procedures required and no ICU coverage as intensivists are in house 24/7 for consultation
• Cover only 1 hospital with 349 acute care beds, admitting medical and surgical patients 16 years of age and older (adult), excluding last trimester obstetrical, and providing medical coordination and inpatient management for surgical patients
