Job summary

Summit Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Gastroenterology team in Purchase, NY. The APP will deliver general medical care, perform health maintenance, and manage acute and chronic gastroenterology conditions within a collaborative, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Gastroenterology knowledge and clinical skills required.
• License/certification as NP or PA is required.
• Ability to work in a team with physicians, APPs, RNs, LPNs and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide general medical care and treatment to Summit Health patients.
• Health maintenance and management of acute/episodic illnesses.
• Management of stable chronic illnesses in the gastroenterology setting.
• Collaborate with physicians and support staff to ensure high-quality care.
