Job summary

Piedmont Heart Institute Physicians is seeking a qualified RN First Assistant to deliver safe, high-quality perioperative care in the OR and related areas in Georgia. The role includes acting as an RN first assistant during procedures and as a circulating nurse when required, supporting patient-family centered care throughout the perioperative continuum.

The ideal candidate holds a nursing degree, completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program, and GA licensure with CNOR/CRNFA as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program.
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program with didactic and clinical components.
• 2 years perioperative RN or RNFA experience.
• 3 years minimum experience as RN or Surgical Tech in the CVOR if CVOR.
• Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNCL multistate license.
• CNOR certification preferred/required where applicable.
• CRNFA certification required.
• BCLS required.
• ACLS and PALS required.
