Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse to join OSF OnCall Urgent Care across facilities. You will deliver high-quality patient care, maintain records, and help manage costs while ensuring a patient-centered experience. You may float between clinics and work 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week).

The role requires IL APN licensure, RN license, and BLS. OSF offers a comprehensive rewards package, professional development, and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field.
• IL Advanced Practice Nurse license and RN license (IL).
• BLS with American Heart Association.
• DOT certification or obtained within 16 weeks of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Advanced Practice Nurse will be responsible for: providing high quality patient care to the patients of OSF OnCall Urgent Care. Maintaining the consistency and quality of all services provided. Maintaining full and current patient medical records, including reports of all examinations, procedures, and other services performed by the provider or other support staff. Exercising diligence in assisting the OSF CEO in keeping costs of the practice to a minimum while maintaining a high level of quality care for patients. Providing a truly personalized, patient-centric experience to all patients of OSF OnCall Urgent Care. This position requires floating to various facilities.

JOB SPECIFICS

• Providing high-quality patient care to the patients of OSF OnCall Urgent Care.

• Clinical base hourly pay range for this position: $60.39-73.68
  • Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Master’s degree Licensure/ Certification: IL Advanced Prac Nurse, IL Registered Nurse License, Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association. Active Department of Transportation (DOT) certification or obtained through the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners within 16 weeks of hire. Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: Experience as an APN
