Job summary

Consolidated Asset Management Services (CAMS) in Houston, TX seeks an Application Performance Monitoring (APM) Engineering Intern. The role focuses on monitoring equipment performance using predictive analytics and supporting thermal performance analysis for critical power generation systems.

Qualifications

Enrolled in an accredited BS/MS program in Engineering or related field.
GPA 3.0 or higher; 3.5+ preferred.

Responsibilities

Utilize APR software to assess plant equipment conditions and triage issues.
Develop, tune, and implement APR models in Prometheus APM.
Alert SMEs and station personnel to anomalies affecting reliability, availability, maintainability, and performance.
Collaborate with engineering teams to monitor thermal performance of power systems.
Create advanced visualizations and present findings to influence decisions and quantify avoided costs.
Work with reliability engineers to enhance decision-making and resolve ambiguity.
Prepare an end-of-summer presentation for the CEO and leadership.
