Roles and Responsibilities

• Deploy Apigee configurations using CI/CD tools such as Terraform, Maven plugins, or Apigee X Config API.
• Connect APIs with legacy systems, on-premises applications, or hybrid cloud environments.
• Publish API documentation, manage developer onboarding, and maintain the API portal.
• Monitor API performance, create custom analytics reports, and utilize tools to track API health and usage.

Required Skills & Tools

• Proficiency in REST, SOAP, XML, and JSON.
• Strong knowledge of API security standards including OAuth and API key management.
• Hands-on experience with Apigee X or Apigee Edge.
• Familiarity with Postman for API testing.
• Experience with Splunk or other logging and monitoring tools.
• Ability to implement traffic management policies, rate limiting, and spike arrest.
• CI/CD automation experience for Apigee deployments.
