Applied Technical Services, LLC is seeking a full-time API Inspector with one or more API certifications to support our Portland, OR office. The role targets recently certified API inspectors in a predominantly residential inspection capacity, 30-40 hours per week with limited overtime.

Relocation to Portland, OR is required; no per diem unless traveling out of area. Responsibilities include field inspections of tanks, piping, and related components, with emphasis on compliance and quality

Qualifications

• Must hold a current API 510 and/or API 570 and/or API 653.
• Recent API cert recipients encouraged to apply.
• Candidate must be willing and very able to work at heights, in confined spaces, outdoors, and at lab, manufacturing and industrial sites.
• Must be local or willing to relocate to Portland, OR.

Summary: ATS is seeking a fulltime API with one or more API certs (510/570/653) to support our Portland, OR office. This position is geared towards recently certified API inspectors in a mostly residential inspector role working 30-40 hours per week with limited overtime. No per diem unless traveling out of area (rare). Requires relocation to Portland, OR.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

Work Conditions

• Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.


• Work from heights on scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, man-baskets, etc.


• Work in confined spaces which will require crawling, stooping, climbing, etc.


• Work in around operating equipment and industrial environments.


• Work with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners, penetrants, film developing chemicals, etc.


• Work shifts up to 12 hours/day and 7 days/week and travel for extended periods of time


• Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds.
