Job summary

Vytwo is seeking an experienced API Tester for a contract role in Texas, either in Austin or Dallas. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 8+ years of relevant experience, particularly with API testing and strong proficiency in Apache JMeter. Familiarity with GCP-hosted applications, SQL, and an understanding of microservices architecture is essential. Additional skills in tools like Postman and knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes are preferred. Attractive contractor rate of $55.00/hr is offered.

• Experience working with GCP-hosted applications
• SQL & basic data validation skills

Preferred

• Experience with tools like Postman, REST Assured, Karate, Swagger/OpenAPI
• Knowledge of containers (Docker) and Kubernetes (GKE)
• Familiarity with Apigee or API Gateway
• Scripting knowledge (Java, Python, Groovy, or JavaScript)
• Exposure to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles
