Job summary

PTR Global is seeking an automation tester with strong GCP experience for a long-term contract in Phoenix, AZ. The role requires hands-on automation testing using Selenium with Java/TestNG/Cucumber and API testing with Postman/REST Assured. Familiarity with CI/CD, Git/Jenkins, and GCP services is needed.

AMEX background is preferred and the position is 100% onsite. The role offers an onsite work arrangement with day-1 onboarding in Phoenix and requires 5 days a week in the office.

Qualifications

• Hands-on automation testing with Selenium and Java/TestNG/Cucumber.
• Experience in API testing using Postman and REST Assured.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC within Agile environments.
• Basic SQL for data validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated test scripts for web applications.
• Validate APIs and data integrity across services.
• Collaborate with development and ops teams to ensure quality throughout CI/CD pipeline.

Job Description:

Required Skills:

• Automation tester + GCP - AMEX background is preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience in Automation Testing (Selenium + Java/TestNG/Cucumber)
• Experience in API testing (Postman/REST Assured).
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodology.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (Git/Jenkins).
• Working knowledge of GCP services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, GKE or similar).
• Understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-based testing.
• Basic SQL for data validation.

Pay Range: $25/hr - $35/hr

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
