Job summary

Boeing's Tapestry Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer in Maryland Heights, MO to contribute to the next generation Mission Planning system for the DoD. You will work on a microservices-based backend in C# with a JavaScript/React frontend, collaborating in a SAFe Agile scrum team.

The role requires a bachelor's in CS/engineering, 5+ years of software development, and ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance. Strong API, testing, and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance is mandatory.
• At least 5 years of software development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript/React/C# and/or C++.
• Experience with REST APIs and SAFe Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, testing, and maintenance of weapon planning software over its lifecycle.
• Assist Product Owner in translating customer requirements into software designs.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize software for system integrations.
• Document architectures, interfaces, and test plans clearly.
• Debug and resolve technical issues to ensure reliability and performance.
• Contribute to development processes and best practices.
