Job summary

Phlow Corp is looking for an API Manufacturing Process Safety Engineer to develop the Process Safety program for small-molecule API manufacturing at our Petersburg, VA site. This role involves process safety assessments, Management of Change (MOC), and implementing safeguards for compliance.

Responsibilities include leading PFMEAs and PHAs, coordinating thermal hazard characterizations, and ensuring the safety of operations through effective training and collaboration with various teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in process safety, chemical engineering, or EHS in manufacturing.
• Practical experience with reactive chemistry and overpressure protection.
• Working knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve the API Process Safety program.
• Lead PFMEAs and PHAs for API processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and near-misses.
