Job summary

Sterling Pharma Solutions Limited in Germantown, Wisconsin, seeks an API Manufacturing Chemist to operate process equipment and utilities, manage reactor systems, and ensure GMP documentation and data reporting.

This role requires monitoring reactions with TLC, GC, NMR, HPLC, and KF, and isolating/purifying products. The position offers a 12-hour day shift on a 2-2-3 schedule with extended time off monthly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field or 3+ years equivalent experience.
• Experience with GMP documentation practices.
• Familiarity with analytical instrumentation (TLC/GC/NMR/HPLC/KF).

Responsibilities

• Operate process equipment and utilities.
• Use the Allen-Bradley Control System to control operations.
• Conduct chemical reactions from gram to multi-kilogram scale.
• Analyze data and interpret analytical results.
• Prepare production areas for cGMP project initiation or changeover.
• Document results and procedures clearly and thoroughly.
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems.
