Sterling Pharma Solutions seeks an API Manufacturing Chemist to operate process equipment and utilities safely, document results per GMP, and prepare final reports for completed projects. The role uses Allen-Bradley controls, conducts gram to multi-kilogram scale reactions, analyzes data (TLC, GC, NMR, HPLC, KF), and ensures cGMP compliance across assignments.

The schedule is 2-2-3 with 12-hour days, totaling 14 workdays monthly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• Experience operating process equipment and ensuring cGMP compliance.
• Proficiency with analytical techniques and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Operates process equipment and utilities safely and accurately.
• Controls operations using Allen-Bradley PLC and manages unit alarms.
• Performs reactions from gram to multi-kilogram scale.
• Analyzes data and interprets analytical results (TLC, GC, NMR, HPLC, KF).
• Documents results per GMP and prepares final project reports.
• Supports changeovers and project timelines within production units.
