Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a manufacturing operator for the API facility in Clayton, NC. The role focuses on operating automated equipment, adhering to GMP/cGMP standards, and supporting production goals within a clean room environment.

The position requires strong attention to detail, ability to read technical documentation, and teamwork in a fast-paced pharmaceutical setting. Training and safety programs are provided.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Associate's degree or higher in Tech, Science, or Engineering preferred.
• BioWork or equivalent industrial training combined with experience preferred.
• Minimum two years of manufacturing experience in FDA-regulated environment preferred.
• Ability to read and understand complicated product documentation and SOPs with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate API manufacturing equipment to meet production goals.
• Follow GMP and cGMP standards and review SOPs and related documents.
• Load and unload product from trucks, tanks, and ISO containers as required.
• Review electronic batch records in real time for compliance with SOPs and GMP.
• Maintain clean room areas and perform environmental monitoring as required.
