Job summary

System One is seeking an Integrations Engineer II (API) to design, implement, and support API-based integrations for customers and vendors in a logistics environment. You will translate complex requirements into reliable solutions and collaborate with ERP/TMS/WMS teams to meet data standards.

The role emphasizes authentication, data mapping, and security, with hands-on work across the full stack. Strong communication skills and multitasking are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4+ years building or supporting API integrations, preferably in logistics or transportation.
• Experience with REST and SOAP APIs, including OAuth 2.0 and API key management.
• Familiarity with ERP/TMS/WMS integrations is a plus.
• Knowledge of NetSuite and/or MercuryGate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support API integrations (REST/SOAP) with customers and vendors.
• Translate business and technical requirements into working integration solutions.
• Build and maintain authentication, authorization, and data mapping logic.
• Monitor performance and resolve errors or data discrepancies.
• Collaborate with TMS, WMS, ERP, and EDI teams for alignment with standards.
• Create technical docs, API specs, data maps, and runbooks.
• Onboard customers/vendors to scope, test, and validate go-live integrations.
• Troubleshoot end-to-end integration issues across the stack.
• Support security/compliance for API access and third-party connections.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and tool/process improvements.
• Track work in Jira and support requests in Freshservice.
