Job summary

TEAM, Inc. is seeking experienced API Inspectors to conduct mechanical integrity inspections across pressure vessels, piping, and tanks.

This field-heavy role requires active API certifications (510/570/653) and hands-on evaluation of in-service and out-of-service equipment in industrial environments. You will generate reports, coordinate with clients, and ensure compliance with codes, standards, and TEAM’s safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Active API certifications in at least one of API 510, 570, 653.
• Solid understanding of damage mechanisms, welding, pressure boundaries and inspection intervals.
• TWIC, OSHA 10/30, or other safety credentials are preferred.
• Experience supporting turnaround inspections, capital projects, or long-term mechanical integrity programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal, external, and on-stream inspections per codes and client programs.
• Prepare and review isometric drawings, repair plans, inspection reports, and data sheets.
• Recommend inspection intervals and corrosion monitoring points based on condition assessments.
• Interface with client representatives, engineers, and maintenance personnel to ensure scope and deliverables.
