Job summary

Applied Technical Services, LLC (ATS) is seeking a full-time, dual-certified API 510 and/or 570 and/or 653 Inspector to support our Augusta, GA office. This role emphasizes field inspections of tanks, vessels and piping to ensure code compliance and reliable safety standards.

Ideal candidates bring industrial inspection experience, strong report-writing skills, and proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office. Additional NDT certifications are a plus for advancement.

Qualifications

• API 510 and/or 570 and/or 653 inspector certification is required or preferred.
• Field inspections of tanks, vessels and piping for code compliance and quality assurance.
• Industrial inspection and maintenance experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Performs field inspections of tanks, vessels, and piping for compliance with standards.
• Provides recommendations for repairs and alterations to tanks, pressure vessels, piping and components.
• Maintains quality control and compliance during inspections.
• Writes detailed assessment reports documenting results.
• Supports plant engineering or steel fabrication contexts.
• Uses MS Office and AutoCAD to document findings and prepare reports.
