Qualifications

• 4–7 years of direct experience in API development and integration.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience supporting enterprise production environments with incident/change/release discipline.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across application, infrastructure, security, QA and client teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java and Python components supporting enterprise APIs and integrations.
• Configure, deploy, and support Kong API Gateway routes, services, plugins, and policies.
• Implement API authentication, authorization, rate limiting, logging, monitoring, and reliability controls.
• Troubleshoot API issues across application, gateway, network, and backend service layers.
• Collaborate with architecture, application, infrastructure, and security teams for API delivery.
• Participate in code reviews, release planning, CI/CD execution, and production implementation activities.
• Prepare deployment notes, API support documentation, and knowledge-transfer materials.
• Ensure API solutions meet enterprise performance, security, and operational standards.
