Job summary

NEXPERA seeks an experienced Mechanical Integrity/QA specialist to support inspection, testing, and repair of critical equipment at Red Lion, DE and adjacent facilities. You will implement standardized inspection plans for piping, vessels, and tanks, perform API-based inspections, and document actions to ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include developing repair procedures, coordinating field inspections, and guiding NDE teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in high hazardous chemical processing or oil refining industries.
• At least two of API 510/570/653 certifications.
• Willingness to travel ~40% per year.

Responsibilities

• Develop, authorize, and maintain inspection plans for PSM critical equipment including pressure vessels, heat exchangers and piping.
• Perform inspections per API 510/653/570 guidelines and generate post inspection reports.
• Develop and implement repair plans for fixed equipment and document QA processes.
• Coordinate field contract administration during repairs and ensure documentation aligns with RAGAGEP and OSHA 1910.119.
• Provide guidance to NDE examiners and evaluate non-destructive testing results.
• Act as Authorized Inspector for PSM critical equipment inspections and alterations.
• Manage Corrosion Monitoring program PSAIM across sites.
• Prepare QA plans for fabrication of new equipment and oversee on-site/shop inspections.
• Estimate remaining life of equipment per RAGAGEP; maintain Owners Manual where applicable.
