Job summary

Technology Partners is seeking an API Developer specializing in C#/.NET and Azure API Management to design, build, and optimize RESTful services for a mobile-facing app. You will refactor legacy endpoints, ensure secure authentication, and collaborate with mobile teams to meet performance and contract requirements.

You will deploy and manage API gateways, integrate CyberSource and Genesis ERP, and implement observability for production APIs.

Qualifications

3-5+ years of API development with C#/.NET.
Strong REST API design and OpenAPI/Swagger knowledge.
Hands-on experience deploying and managing API gateways (Azure API Management).
Familiarity with SQL Server and microservices architecture.
Experience integrating third-party SDKs like CyberSource and Genesis ERP.
Knowledge of search tools like Typesense or Elasticsearch.
Excellent troubleshooting, performance tuning, and security implementation skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

Design and develop REST API layers to expose microservices (shipping, pricing, cart).
Deploy and manage API gateways (Azure API Management) for security and routing.
Refactor legacy endpoints into documented APIs following best practices.
Collaborate with mobile teams to validate API contracts and performance.
Troubleshoot performance issues related to pricing, SKU computations, and ERP latency.
Implement secure authentication transfer between mobile app and identity system.
Coordinate third-party integrations including CyberSource and Genesis ERP.
Develop observability and logging within APIs to monitor production app behavior.
