Job summary

CyberCoders in New York is seeking an Application Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable software solutions using C# and .NET. You will collaborate across product, QA, and operations in an Agile environment, implement CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, and mentor junior developers.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on experience, strong API skills (REST/GraphQL), and a passion for reliable, maintainable code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/SE.
• 3+ years of professional application development experience with C# and .NET.
• Experience with Agile, Git workflows, and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience designing/consuming REST and GraphQL APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain application components and services using C# and related .NET technologies.
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, and operations in an Agile team to plan and deliver increments of work (sprints).
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to automate builds, tests, and deployments.
• Use Git for version control: branch, merge, resolve conflicts, and participate in pull request/code review processes.
• Build and consume APIs (REST and GraphQL-based APIs), and design integration points with third-party services.
• Write unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure code quality.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues; perform performance tuning.
• Document designs, implementation details, runbooks, and handover materials to support maintainability and knowledge sharing.
• Participate in architecture and design discussions, contributing ideas for scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and help enforce coding standards and best practices.
