Eliassen Group is seeking an API Developer III for a remote contract engagement to design, develop, and maintain APIs and integrations across a broad digital ecosystem.

The role leverages Azure services (API Management, Logic Apps, Application Gateway) and C# .NET to deliver secure, scalable integrations with Salesforce, Workday, and other platforms. Strong collaboration and documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of development experience with C#.
• 4+ years of API development and system integration.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure integration services.
• Experience with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce and Workday preferred.
• Proficiency in RESTful APIs and security best practices.
• Familiarity with Jira, Git, and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs and integrations using Azure services and C# .NET.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to other developers and promote API design best practices.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Plan and schedule API development work with Project Managers and Scrum Masters.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration performance and reliability.
• Maintain technical documentation for APIs and development standards.
• Ensure security, scalability, and compliance with information security guidelines.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployments with CI/CD and automated testing.
• Create UAT plans with QA for end-to-end integrations.
• Build a reusable API library with cross-team collaboration.
