We are seeking an experienced API Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust APIs for web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure security compliance, and optimize performance in a continuous integration/delivery environment. The role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and experience working in Agile environments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Architects on non-functional requirements
• Triage and resolve technical issues escalated from development teams
• Partner with business stakeholders to explore options and evaluate potential solutions
• Participate in requirement gathering sessions, offering technical input
• Define and document specifications for APIs and SOAP services
• Write production-quality code using standard integration and API patterns
• Contribute to unit, functional, and non-functional testing of APIs
• Test features of new tools and frameworks being introduced
• Work in Agile methodologies and participate in all stages of the SDLC
• Ensure robust API security and authentication mechanisms
• Monitor API performance and troubleshoot issues promptly
• Conduct code reviews and implement improvements
• Maintain effective documentation of APIs for internal and external users
• Collaborate with frontend and backend developers to align API development
• Deliver scalable, efficient, and high-performing APIs

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in API development
