Job summary

LPL Financial Holdings Inc. is hiring a Data Engineer II to design, build, and maintain Python-based applications and data pipelines in an AWS-driven environment. You will collaborate with Advisors and End Clients to deliver scalable software and reliable data services.

This role requires strong Python, AWS, and PySpark skills, experience with API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, and a hands-on approach to TDD, GitHub CI/CD, and Agile scrum practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Python development experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of AWS services experience (Lambda, API Gateway, Glue, EKS, DynamoDB).
• Experience with PySpark and relational/noSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and services.
• Build data pipelines using AWS Glue and PySpark.
• Develop and deploy containerized applications on AWS EKS and implement microservices patterns.
• Collaborate in an Agile Scrum environment with Jira/Confluence and CI/CD pipelines.
