Job summary

Lightspeed is seeking a Data Analyst - API to maintain API-based data integrations across OEMs, data feeds, and internal teams. You will implement RESTful API integrations and develop reporting solutions, partnering with engineering, data platform, and product teams to ensure accurate dealer data flow across Lightspeed platforms.

The role combines hands-on API development with data analysis and reporting, requiring collaboration with internal and external technical stakeholders to ensure data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with RESTful API design, development, and integration.
• Proficiency with Microsoft SQL; familiarity with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Python, Node.JS, and/or SSIS for building data pipelines.
• Exposure to dealer/OEM data ecosystem or vertical SaaS models.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain RESTful API integrations connecting DMS to OEM systems and data feeds.
• Troubleshoot API connectivity, authentication, and data flow issues for internal and external clients.
• Document API integration specifications and data mappings.
• Build and support reporting solutions using SQL and Power BI.
• Collaborate with engineering, data platform, and product teams to meet data requirements.
