Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group seeks a Governance Engineer II to implement enterprise API governance, data security, and responsible AI policies. The role focuses on automated guardrails, lifecycle management, and self-service governance for API access and emerging AI agents.

Work closely with architecture, security, and data teams to automate compliance, monitor adoption, and enable innovation within a remote‑first environment across the US.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in software engineering, API development, or DevSecOps.
• Experience designing REST APIs and lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with API security concepts: OAuth, authentication, and authorization.

Responsibilities

• Translate policies into implementable API and data governance standards.
• Develop governance-as-code components and reusable patterns.
• Collaborate with security, architecture, data, and engineering teams to enable secure AI access.
