Job summary

Acuren is recruiting temporary API 510/570 Inspectors for Turnaround/Outage/Project work across the United States. Assignments vary in duration and location, supporting client turnaround needs nationwide.

Inspectors perform visual and NDE exams on pressure-retaining equipment per API/ASME, document findings, and provide technical recommendations. Some roles require API 653 or CWI; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years’ experience or 2+ years on site experience.
• API 653 or CWI certification is a plus.
• In-depth working knowledge of API 510/570 and ASME.
• Experience supporting petrochemical facility engineers.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and NDE examination of pressure retaining equipment per API/ASME standards.
• Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition.
• Provide technical recommendations for repair, re-rate, replacement, or alteration of equipment.
• Provide input on welding and metallurgical issues as required.
• Ensure compliance with safe work practices and participate in site safety initiatives.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
