Job summary

The Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN) - Apheresis to join the Apheresis unit. The Staff Nurse will manage and provide nursing care to patients and families, directing and supervising other team members to ensure high quality, cost-effective care in a complex, multispecialty environment.

This role requires a nursing degree from a CCNE or ACEN accredited program and a current Ohio license or interim permit.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing from a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or ACEN accredited nursing program is required.
• Current Ohio license or interim permit.
• Experience in relevant care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients and families and direct/supervise nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team.
• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, delegate and evaluate nursing care in alignment with the professional practice model.
