Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an Apheresis RN to support treatments in Northside Atlanta, Northside Forsyth, and Northside Cherokee. The role emphasizes direct patient care, coordination with hospital teams, and adherence to FMCNA policies.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of RN experience, including apheresis exposure, with current licensure and BLS; ACLS preferred. Travel between facilities is required to cover shifts and ensure patient coverage.

Qualifications

• Current state RN licensure is required.
• One year of RN experience required; apheresis or ICU/CCU/ED experience preferred.
• Certification in Apheresis Nursing encouraged.
• BLS CPR required; ACLS CPR preferred.
• Demonstrates organizational and time management skills; capable of directing others.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in multiple modalities including apheresis.
• Perform scheduled and emergency apheresis treatments and other extracorporeal therapies.
• Maintain patient records and document treatments accurately.
• Ensure safety and infection control practices are followed.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and physicians to coordinate care.
