Job summary

The APD Financial Analyst supports financial management and oversight of Advance Planning Document (APD) activities to help ensure CMS-approved federal funding requirements.

This position works closely with the APO Finance Manager, ITD Finance, and DHB Budget teams to assist with tracking Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) project expenditures, monitoring budgets, and supporting financial reporting activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tracking project budgets and expenditures for APD and MES initiatives.
• Review financial information for accuracy and compliance with CMS funding requirements.
• Maintain APD budget tables and narratives, including the Medicaid Detailed Budget Table (MDBT).
• Gather cost estimates from project teams and stakeholders to support budget development.
• Participate in budget discussions with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with program objectives.
