Encompass Community Services in Watsonville, CA seeks an Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) for a 20-hour per week role across two SUD residential programs. Pay ranges from $75 to $80 per hour, with flexible hours Monday–Friday and on-call stipends.

Work is in-person or via telehealth under supervision of Medical Director and Director of Nursing. The APC will provide medical care, MAT services, and case management, coordinating with care teams to deliver Integrated Behavioral Health services and

• Active and unrestricted license to practice as a NP or PA in California.
• Active and unrestricted DEA licensure in California.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Health examination including TB screening within 90 days prior to employment or within 7 days after employment and at least annually thereafter.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.
• Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to recognize the needs and concerns of diverse groups of people.
• Ability to travel between the two programs in Santa Cruz and Watsonville.
• Pass a criminal record clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Determine eligibility of potential clients for residential SUD treatment.
• Provide medical care including initial physical exams, follow-up care, MAT, and assessments for substance use disorders in residential treatment.
• Provide medical case management, coordinating with PCP and care team; connect client with indicated providers as needed.
• Provide support and direction to onsite nurses.
• Provide MAT services within scope of practice.
• Order and review labs as clinically indicated.
• Prescribe and monitor medications for clients in residential treatment, including OTC meds as needed.
• Meet Medi-Cal billing requirements through EMR documentation per Encompass guidelines.
• Provide education to clients regarding medication, health, and wellness.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
