Position Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor oversees all aspects of maintenance operations across our residential portfolio, ensuring repairs, preventative maintenance, and unit turns are completed to high standards and on schedule. This hands-on role requires strong technical knowledge as well as proven leadership skills to guide and support a small team of Maintenance Technicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and support a team of 2–3 Maintenance Technicians.
• Perform and oversee inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs.
• Ensure high-quality completion of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance tasks.
• Oversee timely unit turns to meet move-in schedules.
• Manage inventory and equipment, ensuring adequate supply levels and tool condition.
• Use mobile maintenance software to track work orders, photos, materials, and progress.
• Coordinate and supervise outside vendors as needed for specialized services.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for escalated maintenance issues.
• Rotate on-call responsibilities and support after-hours emergencies as needed.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential or multifamily maintenance experience.
• 1+ year of supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and basic carpentry systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to train and mentor others.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and full set of basic hand/power tools.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces.
