Supervises: All on-site staff at the property
The Tentac Apartment Property Manager is responsible for the comprehensive oversight and operational success of the residential apartment buildings. Serving as the central point of coordination for all property-related activities, they play a critical role in maintaining the physical integrity of the property, fostering positive tenant relations, maximizing occupancy and rental income, and ensuring strict adherence to all applicable housing regulations and laws. The primary objective of an apartment property manager is to safeguard and enhance the value of the property while providing a high standard of living for tenants. Property managers also implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants, oversee tenant screening processes, and ensure timely lease renewals or turnovers. In addition to operational duties, they are responsible for maintaining legal compliance with local, state, and federal housing codes, fair housing laws, safety regulations, and lease agreements.

Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge and abilities may be considered sufficient.
Previous management experience in Property Management or related field is required. Generally, 1-3 years if in Property Management, longer if in a related field. Experience level may vary due to the special needs of the property.
Prior training in budget preparations and analyzing reports, sales, marketing, and human resource management. Prior experience in property management software is a plus, specifically Entrata and Yieldstar.
The position requires the ability to work any of the seven days of the week, 52 weeks of the year. Due to the property staff limitations, it is extremely critical that individuals be able to work their scheduled hours plus any other necessary to complete the job. This means there may be evening and weekend work based on business needs.
All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance including hair color. The position requires individuals to wear appropriate property management career apparel as described in the company Team Member Handbook.
