Porter / Groundskeeper – Apartment Community

Full-time | $19–$20 per hour

KRS Holdings, Inc. is seeking a dependable and hardworking Porter / Groundskeeper to join our team at Soundview Townhomes in Newport News, VA. This is a full-time position that also includes light maintenance duties, offering a great opportunity to grow your skills in property management and facilities upkeep.

Pay:

• $19.00 – $20.00 per hour

• Paid biweekly

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

• Full-time, 40 hours per week

• Occasional weekend work may be required

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of community grounds and common areas

• Remove trash and debris from the property and around dumpsters

• Perform basic landscaping tasks (sweeping, blowing, leaf removal, etc.)

• Assist with light maintenance such as bulb changes, touch-up painting, and basic repairs

• Report safety hazards or maintenance issues promptly

• Support the maintenance team with unit turnovers and property upkeep as needed

Qualifications:

• Experience in grounds keeping, janitorial work, or general maintenance

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
