Job summary

Merakey is seeking an Apt Manager/Floating Shift Supervisor in Crafton, PA. The role involves supervising Direct Care Staff in a residential/apartment setting, managing resident financial records, and ensuring a wholesome environment in line with NHS/AVS principles.

Shifts include evenings, overnights, and weekends. The position provides orientation and training, requires basic computer skills, and reports to the Residential Services Director.

Qualifications

• Two years of prior work experience with IDD in a similar setting or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Must have a valid Driver's License to drive buses.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Direct Care Staff and coordinate ongoing daily activities within our Residential/Apartment setting.
• Oversee financial records for individuals residing in the residence and for the group home.
• Create a residential atmosphere aligned with NHS/AVS philosophy, promoting resident rights and responsible staff conduct.
• Provide orientation and ongoing training for all staff in residence.
• Prepare and submit necessary paperwork (written and electronic).
• Maintain basic computer knowledge and skills.

Description

Position: Apt Manager/Floating Shift Supervisor
Location: Crafton , PA
Pay Rate: Earn up to $21 /hour with election of Enhanced Pay option. base= 19 per hr

Shifts available: Evenings, Overnights and Weekends

• This position will be directly responsible for the supervision of the Direct Care Staff and coordination of ongoing daily activities within our Residential/Apartment setting.
• This position encompasses responsibility for all financial records for the individuals residing within residence and financial records for the group home.
• This position provides a desirable residential atmosphere based on the NHS/AVS philosophy which advocates the full rights of the residents and demands that staff performs in a mature, wholesome and responsible manner.
• This position will provide orientation and continuing training of all staff in residence.
• This position will prepare and submit all necessary paperwork (written and electronic).
• This position requires basic computer knowledge and skills.
• This position will coordinate, plan and initiate residential activities, special events and off campus trips.
• This position maintains all records pertinent to their area of responsibility. This position works closely with other departments.
• This position directly reports to the Residential Services Director.

This position is in rotation of Relief shift Supervisor role, which is directly responsible for all matters within the building, all staff and residents
