CAF Management, Make Ready Technicians play a key role in preparing apartments for new residents. You’ll complete repairs, painting, and cleaning tasks to meet quality standards, ensuring systems work and rooms look inviting.

This full-time, onsite role requires handyman skills, reliability, and a willingness to grow with the property management team. Competitive hourly pay plus commission accompanies strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with painting, drywall, hardware, and related repairs.
• Able to manage time and complete tasks independently.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Able to work Saturdays; flexible weekday schedule.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by completing basic repairs, painting, and cleaning tasks.
• Inspect units for quality and ensure all systems and appliances are working properly.
• Replace light fixtures, hardware, screens, locks, blinds, and other standard items.
• Report major repair needs to the Lead Maintenance Technician or Property Manager.
• Support the maintenance team with curb appeal projects and minor work orders.
• Ensure make-ready timelines are met to support leasing goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized make-ready area and supply inventory.
