Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to turn vacant apartment homes into market-ready units by performing required repairs and preventive maintenance. You will follow make-ready checklists, caulk and seal around openings, inspect drywall, paint touch-ups, and keep common areas clean and safe, supporting cost-saving and safety compliance.

You will work with the Service Supervisor or Community Manager to complete tasks on schedule, respond to resident questions with courtesy, and help

Qualifications

• Completes all needed repairs and improvements to apartment homes prior to resident move-in by following the community’s make-ready checklist.
• Caulking and sealing around windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspects all sheetrock for damage, and repairs and/or replaces as needed.
• Performs touch-up paints for vacant and occupied units as directed by Service Supervisor or Community Manager.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning and painting as needed.
• Fixes parts when possible to support cost-cutting and reduces waste.
• Completes make-ready checklist and maintenance documentation promptly.
• Complies with safety policies and completes OSHA-related training.
• Provides courteous customer service to residents and handles inquiries and complaints efficiently.
