Job summary

South Oxford Management seeks a Make-Ready Technician to ensure vacant units meet quality standards for re-leasing. The role requires hands-on maintenance to turn apartments quickly to market-ready condition while upholding company standards.

On-site five days a week, you will support maintenance, assist with trash-outs, and help with resident event preparation. The team emphasizes safety, professionalism, and teamwork in a dynamic property management environment.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of property maintenance.
• Skill in the safe use and maintenance of power tools.
• Able to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Knowledgeable of EPA and OSHA regulations.
• Steady hand and good dexterity with hand tools and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacant apartments and complete the make-ready checklist per company specifications.
• Inform Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager of needed services and repairs.
• Restore apartment to market-ready status by performing required tasks.
• Assist during trash-out and move heavy/bulky items to the dumpster.
• Keep the grounds clean and assist with maintenance when needed.
• Support leasing by delivering notices for resident events and other communications.
• Prepare and clean up for resident events.
• Report supply needs to Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager.
• Prioritize safety and correct unsafe conditions promptly.
• Communicate professionally with residents, future residents, visitors, vendors and team members.
