Job summary

InterSolutions, LLC is seeking a dependable Apartment Maintenance Technician in Baton Rouge, LA to service and maintain our properties. You will handle service requests, perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repairs, and keep communities functional under supervision.

Applicants should have basic maintenance knowledge, prior apartment maintenance preferred, ability to lift 40 pounds, weekend availability, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of maintenance repair and service across multiple areas.
• Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC Certification is a plus.
• Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and safely using ladders.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete service tickets and work orders efficiently and accurately.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by turnover processes.
• Keep grounds and common areas clean and free of debris.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to residents.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, appliance, and carpentry repairs.
• Repair lighting, fixtures, doors, and caulking; trim as needed.
