Job summary

Rose Valley Management is seeking a Service Technician to perform preventative and routine maintenance across the property grounds and resident units in Herndon, VA. You’ll deliver hospitality-driven living experiences with strong customer service and hands-on repair skills.

Daily duties include plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, appliance work, and grounds upkeep. Must be on-call for emergencies and participate in team meetings and training. Salary range is $23–$25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance, drywall, painting, and snow removal.
• Customer service first attitude.
• Must have reliable transportation for on-call emergencies.
• Experience working in maintenance in an apartment community.
• On call REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• Responsible for common area and apartment repairs in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, wall repairs, painting, plumbing and appliances.
• Oversee building curb appeal via exterior inspections, cleaning, and grounds maintenance.
• Provide excellent customer service and attention to detail for residents.
• Daily cleaning duties.
• Handle special projects as assigned.
• Apply preventative measures to reduce future problems.
• Fix potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.
• Attend team meetings, workshops and training sessions.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency work orders.
