Job summary

Highmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to handle appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical work at our apartment community in Tallahassee, FL. You will support the Service Manager and help maintain a safe, well‑kept property.

Requirements include at least one year of apartment maintenance experience and an A/C Certification Type II or Universal, plus a valid driver's license. On‑site role with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment maintenance.
• Punctual, dependable and self-starter.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule and on-call.
• A/C Certification Type II or Universal is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C and electrical duties.
• Assist Service Manager with tasks as required by the community.
• Ensure service requests are completed correctly and timely.
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs.
• Respond to automated service on emergency calls per policy.
• Assist with resident functions.
• Participate in the ongoing community preservation and preventive maintenance plan.
