Job summary

ZRS Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to deliver exceptional service to residents and work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor. The role involves hands-on maintenance of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and related systems, with opportunities for advancement to Maintenance Supervisor.

Responsibilities include turnover maintenance within 3–5 business days, upkeep of common areas, and support of preventive maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and proof of automobile insurance.
• EPA certification preferred; if required at a specific property, must be obtained within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform independently skilled maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and other systems.
• Complete apartment turnover maintenance within 3–5 business days and follow turnover checklist.
• Perform common area maintenance (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash, windows, etc.).
• Monitor building exterior for roof, siding, shutters, and related issues.
• Assist in maintaining an effective preventive maintenance program for assigned areas.
• Ensure safe condition of equipment and structures; take primary responsibility for safety.
• Enter newly purchased tools/equipment into inventory.
• Keep work area clean and orderly; observe all safety rules.
