Job summary

The NRP Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager at our San Juan property. You will perform general maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping to maintain curb appeal and apartment quality, while responding to service requests.

Ideal candidates have 3–4 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a CFC Universal Certification preferred. Reliable transportation and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; CFC Universal Certification preferred.
• Certification must be attained within 90 days of hire.
• Knowledge to thoroughly complete maintenance assessments to company standards.
• Maintenance experience: 3–4 years.
• Proficient in computer use for maintenance records and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and janitorial services as assigned.
• Assist with maintenance of storage area and maintenance materials.
• Refurbish and renovate apartments per company standards.
• Walk the property daily to ensure curb appeal and quality of apartments.
• Notify Community Manager of any safety concerns and participate in safety meetings.
• Responsible for knowledge of property specific problems such as asbestos.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Maintain accurate records of all tasks completed.
