AWI Management Corp. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support a 138-unit apartment community in Patterson, CA.

The role is full-time, onsite, and includes responsibilities from completing work orders to performing general maintenance tasks to keep the property safe and welcoming for residents. The successful candidate will have strong communication, organization, and time-management skills, with experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Organized with strong time management and prioritization.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
• Experience with general building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting.
• Experience with subsidized housing programs (HUD, LIHTC, or RD) is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance requests and work orders promptly.
• Perform general maintenance tasks (painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
• Assist with preventative maintenance to keep systems in good condition.
• Maintain grounds and landscaping for strong curb appeal.
• Coordinate with vendors and order supplies with the Property Manager.
• Ensure safety and respond to emergency maintenance situations.
