Brookside Properties in Smyrna, TN is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Park 1Eleven apartment community. You’ll perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repairs, and general upkeep to maintain curb appeal and safety.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, HVAC experience, and EPA Type II or Universal certification preferred, plus reliable transportation and willingness for after-hours on-call rotation. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• HVAC experience required; EPA Type II or Universal preferred.
• Prior apartment or multifamily maintenance experience.
• Reliable transportation and basic tools.
• Willingness to participate in after-hours on-call rotation.
• Ability to walk the property, climb stairs/ladders, and lift up to 25lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliances, and general upkeep
• Respond promptly to service requests and emergency calls
• Maintain property cleanliness and curb appeal
• Manage maintenance tools, supplies, and equipment
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and Fair Housing standards
