Job summary

Community Housing Partners Corporation is seeking Apartment Maintenance Technicians to join our team in Pulaski, VA. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing routine maintenance issues, and coordinating with residents to ensure timely service.

You will work a standard daytime schedule with rotating on-call duties, earn overtime and competitive pay, and enjoy an extensive benefits package including tuition reimbursement and a 403(b) plan with company matching.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of maintenance experience or electrical/plumbing/HVAC experience, plus a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work rotating on-call schedule; overtime opportunities.
  • Familiar with safety procedures and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing and completing routine maintenance repairs
  • Responding to resident service requests with professionalism and urgency
  • Performing preventative maintenance and quarterly inspections
  • Maintaining common areas, grounds, and building systems
  • Completing apartment turnovers within established timelines
  • Participating in an on-call rotation and responding to emergency maintenance needs
  • Coordinating with vendors and contractors as needed
  • Supporting and sharing knowledge with less experienced team members
  • Following all safety procedures, OSHA standards, and compliance requirements

Community Housing Partners Corporation is looking for Apartment Maintenance Technicians to join our team in Pulaski, VA at their Meadowview Apartments and their Laurel Woods Apartments properties!

If you have at least 1 year of maintenance experience or electrical, plumbing, and/or HVAC experience, and a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, CHP wants to hear from you!

As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will enjoy:

  • Schedule: When not on call, typical hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm with a 1-hour lunch break. There is a rotating on-call schedule shared amongst the maintenance technicians in which you will be on call 24/7. (No constant nights or weekend)
