Full-Time Apartment Maintenance Position

We are looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician who is honest, friendly, and flexible. It is a luxury 56-unit apartment community in a quiet and peaceful atmosphere.

About the Job:

Position: Full-time Maintenance Technician

Location: Richardson, TX

Wage: Competitive Pay

Qualifications:

• Apartment Maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to work full-time.
• Professional, positive attitude.
• On-call for emergency work orders.
• Excellent oral and written communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work requests effectively.
• Commitment to customer service and teamwork.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

Make Ready:

• Inspect vacated apartments, complete checklists, and report to the office.
• Trash out after move-out.
• Perform caulking, sheetrock, texture repair, painting, plumbing, HVAC checks, tile repair, appliance and fixture installation, and final cleaning.

Other Duties:

• Maintain grounds, common areas, and pool during summer.
• Handle work orders for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, water heater, and appliances.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate supply orders with the office manager.
• On-call for emergency work orders.
