Responsibilities:

1. Perform maintenance work on plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and mechanical systems in residential apartment units located in Pittsburgh, PA.
2. Respond promptly to service calls from residents and ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner.
3. Interact in a polite and professional manner with tenants, vendors, contractors, and colleagues.
4. Complete assigned maintenance tasks in vacant apartments for unit turnovers and preparations.
5. Carry out various preventive maintenance procedures to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
6. Be available for on-call and after-hour emergency maintenance requests and work orders.
7. Maintain the grounds of the community to uphold its appearance and functionality.
8. Conduct painting and wall touch-up tasks as needed.
9. Perform carpet cleaning duties as part of the maintenance responsibilities.

Qualifications:

1. Must have the ability to conveniently commute to and from the workplace.
2. Must be available for a flexible on-call schedule covering morning, afternoon, and evening service calls at apartment properties throughout the week.
3. A valid driver's license is required.
4. Reliable transportation is a must.

Compensation:

$18 - $22 hourly
